The Indo-Pacific Blue Marlin [Makaira mazara]

Description
The Indo-Pacific Blue Marlin is similar in size to the Atlantic Blue Marlin, reaching lengths of 14 feet and weighing as much as 1,400 lbs. They have a deep blue top and a silvery bottom. They have a long, pointed bill and a high, pointed dorsal fin. The Indo-Pacific Blue Marlins inhabit the Indian and Pacific Oceans. They are known for their speed, power and size, making them a popular target for sport fishing.
