Pygmy Pacific Sea Tulip [Pyura microcosmus]

Description
The Pygmy Pacific Sea Tulip is the smallest member of the Pacific Tulips. It is found in the intertidal and subtidal zones of the Pacific Ocean, often in clusters. Despite its small size, the Pygmy Pacific Sea Tulip has a robust leathery outer layer that allows it to withstand the harsh conditions of its habitat. It feeds on plankton and other small organic material.
