Mediterranean Triton [Charonia lampas]

Description
The Mediterranean Triton is a species of large sea snail found in the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. Its shell can reach up to 35 centimeters in length. The shell is thick and heavy, with a rich orange color. This species is known to be a predator of the Crown-of-thorns starfish, a species responsible for the destruction of coral reefs.
