Description
Clithon retropictus, or the Bumpy Nerite Snail, is a small, slow-moving freshwater snail known for its bumpy shell, which is usually dark green with black stripes. The species is a grazers of algae and is often found in slow-moving or stagnant freshwater habitats. It is native to Southeast Asia but has been introduced to other areas, both intentionally for aquarium use and unintentionally through ballast water.
