Description
Theodoxus transversalis, often called the Striped Nerite Snail, is a species of freshwater snail endemic to the eastern Mediterranean region. It has a distinctively striped shell, with alternating bands of black and white. It is found in slow-moving or still waters, including lakes, ponds, and slow streams.
