Pteraeolidia semperi [Pteraeolidia semperi]

Description
Often referred to as a 'winged' or 'blue dragon' sea slug, this species is found in the tropical waters of the Indo-Pacific. It has a brown body, with cerata that are typically blue or purple. Pteraeolidia semperi feeds on small cnidarians, and is unique in that it can incorporate their nematocysts (stinging cells) into its own tissues for protection against predators.
