Common Bubble Snail [Philine aperta]

Description
Philine aperta is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Philinidae, the headshield slugs and bubble snails. They are usually found in the Northeast Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. They are usually found buried in sandy or muddy substrates. They are characterized by their headshield, used to plough through the substrate, and a shell that is often reduced and hidden by the mantle.
