Description
The Atlantic Protula is a unique marine annelid worm species found in the Atlantic Ocean. It has a long, tube-like body with many tentacles, similar to its Pacific counterpart. This species inhabits deep sea environments and is known to burrow into the sediment on the ocean floor. The Atlantic Protula feeds by filtering small particles of organic material from the water. Reproduction occurs throughout the year, with the species using external fertilization.
