Sabre Squirrelfish [Sargocentron spiniferum]
Description
Sabre Squirrelfish are dramatic reef predators with long, sweeping fins and a confident, hovering style. Divers frequently encounter them in groups or singly near drop-offs and reef walls, where they patrol just above the substrate and dart to snatch prey when something passes by.
