Venus Sea Fans [Eunicella]
Description
Eunicella, also known as Venus sea fans, is a genus of gorgonian corals. These corals are notable for their delicate, fan-shaped structures and are predominantly white, yellow, or pink. Eunicella species are found in a variety of marine environments but are most commonly associated with rocky reefs in the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. They rely on the flow of water to bring them food, which their polyps capture and consume.
