Trapania [Trapania]

Description

The Trapania genus includes small, often cryptically colored nudibranchs with a distinct body shape that includes a pair of elongated, tapering processes at the rear end, and another pair near the head, which are thought to be sensory in function. Trapania species are found globally, from tropical to temperate waters, where they feed on entoprocts and other small sessile invertebrates.
