Synaptura [Synaptura]
Description
Synaptura includes soles primarily found in the Indo-Pacific region. They have elongated bodies and are highly adapted to a benthic lifestyle, often burying themselves in the substrate. Their diet mainly consists of small benthic invertebrates and they are known for their ability to blend into their surroundings.
