Personaria [Personaria]
Description
Personaria represents a genus of sea snails within the family Personidae, distinguished by their heavy and solid shells. These shells are generally large, with a rough surface texture often covered in nodules or spines. The aperture is wide, and the siphonal canal is short but well-defined. Personaria species are benthic predators, primarily feeding on other mollusks and slow-moving invertebrates. They inhabit a variety of marine environments, from shallow reefs to deeper waters across the Indo-Pacific region.
