Paracentropyge [Paracentropyge]
Description
Paracentropyge is a small genus of dwarf angelfishes known for their vivid colors and elusive nature. These fishes are found in the Indo-Pacific, usually in deeper reef areas than their Centropyge relatives. They have a more subdued coloration compared to other angelfishes, often featuring a combination of blue, yellow, and orange hues. Paracentropyge species are a challenge to keep in aquariums due to their specific dietary and habitat requirements.
