Description
The genus Olindioides includes small, often inconspicuous jellyfish within the family Limnomedusae, found in marine and sometimes brackish waters. These jellyfish have delicate bodies with a bell diameter not usually exceeding a few centimeters. Olindioides species are less commonly encountered than those of other genera in the family, with a distribution that includes areas with relatively clean and unpolluted waters. Their lifecycle involves both polyp and medusa stages.
