Description

Channomuraena is a genus of eels in the family Muraenidae, comprising species known as Mosaic Morays. These eels are named for their intricate, mosaic-like patterns on their skin. They are found in the tropical Indo-Pacific, frequenting crevices in coral reefs and under rocks. Their slender bodies and adaptive coloring make them adept at blending into their surroundings to ambush prey.
