Limea [Limea]

Description
Limea is a lesser-known genus within the family, with species that have thin, delicate shells and a less pronounced degree of lateral compression compared to other genera. These bivalves are often found in deeper water habitats, clinging to rocky substrates. Despite their fragile appearance, Limea species are adapted to withstand strong currents and are capable of some degree of mobility.
