Description

Gibberula is a genus of small, often beautifully colored sea snails, belonging to the family Cystiscidae. These gastropods have smooth, glossy shells that can be quite varied in pattern and coloration. They are primarily nocturnal, hiding under the sand during the day and emerging at night to feed on detritus and microorganisms.
