Piriapolis

Piriapolis is another coastal city in Uruguay, located between Punta del Este and Montevideo. This area is known for its hills, forests, and beaches. The underwater topography around Piriapolis is quite diverse, featuring rocky formations, sandy bottoms, and several shipwrecks. These shipwrecks, some of which date back to the early 20th century, are a major attraction for divers, offering a glimpse into the past as well as serving as artificial reefs for marine life.
