Machalilla National Park

Located along the coast of Ecuador, Machalilla National Park includes the beautiful Isla de la Plata, often referred to as the 'mini Galápagos' because of its similar flora and fauna. The area offers divers the chance to see colorful coral reefs, a variety of fish species, sea turtles, and during the right season, humpback whales. The park is not only a spot for diverse marine life but also includes archaeological sites and tropical forests.
