Loyalty Islands

This group of islands to the east of the main island offers some of the most pristine diving in the Pacific. The Loyalty Islands are encircled by a barrier reef, creating a vast lagoon with an incredible diversity of coral and fish species. The islands of Lifou, Maré, and Ouvéa each have their unique dive sites, ranging from shallow coral gardens to deep, pelagic-filled drop-offs. The area is also known for its encounters with large marine life, such as manta rays and sharks.
