Lake Issyk-Kul

Lake Issyk-Kul, located in the northern Tian Shan mountains in eastern Kyrgyzstan, is the second-largest saline lake in the world and the tenth-largest lake by volume. It is a renowned dive zone for its clear waters, unique freshwater flora and fauna, and historical underwater artifacts, including ancient ruins and relics. The lake is also known for its slightly saline, extremely clear water, which remains unfrozen even in winter, providing year-round diving opportunities. The surrounding mountains and diverse ecosystems make it a picturesque location for divers.
