Lake Sevan

Lake Sevan, the largest body of water in Armenia and the Caucasus region, offers unique freshwater diving experiences. It is notable for its clear waters, especially during the summer months, and is home to various endemic species of fish. Divers can explore submerged structures, ancient settlements that were flooded during the lake's artificial expansion in the 20th century, and natural rock formations. The lake's altitude of about 1,900 meters above sea level also makes it a distinctive high-altitude dive site.
