Ny-Ålesund is located on the shores of Kongsfjorden, on the northwest coast of Spitsbergen. It is one of the world's northernmost settlements and serves as a research station. The waters around Ny-Ålesund are known for their rich marine biodiversity and the presence of shipwrecks from the early 20th century. Diving here allows for exploration of both natural underwater landscapes and historical sites. Ice diving is also possible in winter.
