Espiritu Santo, often simply referred to as Santo, is the largest island in Vanuatu and is renowned for its excellent diving opportunities. The island's most famous dive site is the SS President Coolidge, a luxury ocean liner converted into a troopship during WWII that sank just off the coast. Divers are also drawn to Million Dollar Point, where the US military dumped equipment after the war. The island offers a range of dive experiences from shore dives to deep wrecks.
