Salt Cathedral

Description

Salt Cathedral is an underwater salt formation on the southern end of Lake Assal. The site gets its name from the towering salt pillars that resemble the pillars of a cathedral. Divers can explore tunnels and crevices among the pillars, adding an element of adventure to the dive. Like the Crater, the Cathedral is characterized by excellent visibility and minimal marine life.
