Peningagja

Description

Peningagja, also known as 'Money Fissure', is a narrow and shallow fissure in Lake Thingvallavatn. The site got its name from the tradition of throwing coins into the fissure for good luck. The coins, mostly left by tourists, shimmer and sparkle in the clear water, creating a unique underwater sight.
