Formigas

Description

A tiny group of islets 20 miles northeast of Santa Maria Island. The area is known for its diversity of large pelagic species, including barracuda, mackerel, and occasionally hammerhead sharks. The seabed is a combination of sand and rocks, providing a habitat for an abundance of marine life.
