Dusky Sound

About this Dive Site

Description

Dusky Sound is one of the most complex of the many fjords on the southwestern coast of New Zealand, with numerous islands and inlets. It's a home of sea pens, spiny dogfish, black corals, and various deep-sea fish species. The water is often murky, which adds an element of mystery to the dives.
