Description
Zavodovski Island is an uninhabited volcanic island in the South Sandwich Islands. It is a challenging dive site with strong currents and cold water temperatures, but it provides divers with an opportunity to see a variety of marine life including fur seals, chinstrap penguins, and various species of seabirds. The underwater volcanic activity creates a unique seascape of lava tunnels and formations.
