Wreck of the Maverick

About this Dive Site

Description

The Wreck of the Maverick is a 350-foot ferry that was intentionally sunk in 1997 to create an artificial reef. The wreck now sits upright in 30 meters of water and is home to a variety of marine life, including barracuda, jacks, and large grouper. The wreck is penetrable for experienced divers, but can also be enjoyed from the outside by less experienced divers.
