HMS Terror Wreck Site

Description

The HMS Terror is another shipwreck site from the Franklin Expedition located not far from the HMS Erebus. It provides a hauntingly beautiful dive experience, with the ship resting upright on the sea floor. Divers can explore the exterior of the ship, but the interior is off-limits to preserve the historical artifacts. Marine life includes Arctic char, sea anemones, and occasionally Greenland sharks. Diving is only permitted with a special license from Parks Canada.
