HMS Erebus Shipwreck Site

Description

Located in the icy waters of Nunavut, the HMS Erebus is a shipwreck site that has remained in excellent condition due to the cold water temperatures. Divers can explore the deck, the captain's cabin, and the crew's quarters, among other areas. Marine life is scarce due to the extreme conditions, but occasionally Arctic char and Greenland shark can be spotted. Due to the historical significance of the site, divers must have permission from Parks Canada to dive here.
