About
We are an independent dive club who meet on Friday evenings at Newport swimming pool. We were formed in May 1994 as SAA (The Sub Aqua Association, our governing body) club number 829 and we have been training divers at Newport Pool since 1st July 1994. The clubs aims are to arrange dive trips and train club members. We are a friendly and welcoming club with a mixed members covering the age range of 14 to 60 plus. Our progressive training regime is designed to enable new comers to the sport to become safe divers and develop their skills towards advanced diving. Our Instructors are all experienced, unpaid volunteers, with DBS clearance.
